Jeffrey David Hatchell, President/CEO
Over the Top Management and Professional Development Services is
owned by JD Hatchell Enterprises, Inc. Jeffrey D. Hatchell
is the President/CEO. He has more than 20 years of
experience working for Fortune 500 companies, including working as a
National Sales Director with American Express, where he lead a national sales team,
and Wells Fargo Bank as a Vice President of Business Banking, where he led a team of
business bankers.
Jeffrey Hatchell is an executive coach, a communications skills trainer,
and has an MBA. Jeff is uniquely talented in designing and
delivering workshops that impact a company’s bottom line with a focus on
exceeding corporate objectives. He is known as a results coach
because people walk away from coaching and training sessions refreshed,
motivated, and committed to move forward in maximizing their potential
to excel.
In addition to our founder, Over the Top Management and Professional
Development Services has a team of coaches and trainers who are
certified to conduct workshops and management coaching sessions, and to
provide motivational speaking services.
Training
Hatchell cultivated his coaching and training expertise as a Certified
Corporate Trainer and Coach in Executive Presentations Skills with
Communispond; a global performance improvement company. While at
Communispond, Hatchell helped many mid and senior level executives from
Fortune 500 organizations and students at colleges and business schools
improve their ability to communicate more effectively. Hatchell also
sharpened his public speaking and leadership skills while serving as the
President of Impact 21 Toastmasters Club where he created and led career
development workshops that helped job seekers improve their
communication, positioning them to obtain new jobs. Hatchell has also
received an Advanced Toastmasters Award and won a series of speech
contests with Toastmasters International.
Experience & Education
Over his career, Hatchell has amassed sales, marketing, and management
experience with major accomplishments at Fortune 500 organizations.
Hatchell, most recently held the position of Vice President and Business
Banking Manager with Wells Fargo. In this role he led and coached a team
of business bankers focused on providing financial service solutions to
businesses with annual sales of $2 to $20 million. Hatchell started with
Wells Fargo as a Strategic Business Manager for California Business
Banking Bay Division. In this capacity, Hatchell developed and helped
execute business plans, sales initiatives, and enhanced internal
partnering. His efforts increased sales and improved cross-sell results.
In addition, Hatchell was a member of the Wells Fargo African American
Strategic Board of Directors.
Hatchell worked over six years with American Express in a variety of
areas. As National Sales Director responsible for new business
development, Hatchell successfully established new distribution channels
that resulted in gaining new business partners in non-traditional
vertical industries. As a Manager of Regional Accounts, Hatchell
exceeded sales goals by 192%, ranking second out of thirty managers in
North America. As a result he received the American Express Grand
Achievers Award. As a Manager of National Accounts, Hatchell led
marketing efforts for a $1 billion portfolio of national financial
service accounts that resulted in obtaining the most significant sales
improvement for all national account teams.
This Coach U graduate received his Masters of Business Administration
degree (GPA: 3.7) from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of
Business Administration in Marketing degree from Howard University. He
is a recipient of “Who’s Who in American Junior Colleges” award. Jeffrey
is also the Vice President of Administration for the National Black MBA
Association San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and an active member of 100
Black Men Inc.
Family
Hatchell enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, tennis,
and reading business and inspirational books and being actively involved
at his church, World Conquerors. Hatchell currently resides in Oakland,
California with his college sweetheart Michelle and three children.
Jeffrey David is the proud father of Jenay age 7, Justin age 4, and
McKayla age 2.
